These exquisite lamps pay homage to centuries-old paper lanterns that have held a privileged place in Asian cultures. Hayon has reimagined them with a modern twist, dispensing with cultural formalities to create a stunning series of lamps, all in white.
Crafted by hand, each lamp in this collection is made with rice paper in varying sizes and shapes. The series includes three different lantern versions and a table lamp, all featuring ivory white rice paper with black-stained oak accents. The paper shade is meticulously handmade, with oak veneer fittings, while the base is carved from solid oak wood.
These lamps are designed to operate on a voltage of 220-240V, with a frequency of 50HZ. They are compatible with 2 x E27 Max 60 Watt light sources, but the bulb is not included. The canopy is included, and the cord length measures 400cm/157.5in.
